"When I started, I loved the culture and the people I worked with and worked for. It was an associate-driven company that used to believe in its mission statement, and the founders were great men."

"Don't! Of the approximatly 30 managers I know that still work at Home Depot, NONE of them recommend working there. (True.)"

"It has abandoned its mission and its principles. It has expelled its culture and no longer sees employees as an investment to be nurtured, but as an expense to be minimized."

"Transform into the learning environment you once believed in, so it can adapt and grow. If not, your market share will dwindle and your customers will abandon their loyalty, and shop elsewhere."
