"Opendoor is an excellent company with some opportunity for advancement. The company does a great job at creating a strong culture and has strong benefits and competitive pay. Rapid growth along with a recent change in management and organizational structure created a top-down structure which left some individuals behind, or seeking new prospects. The most recent attempts at streamlining the business have caused countless rifts, and a more difficult work environment."

"Opendoor is a company that became a unicorn quickly. Early on the company was fantastic. Culture was second to none. Over time the company grew and lost its way. It became a company that forget its identity. It became a place of intense scrutiny and consultant mind set. The only constant there is change. This is a result of the consultant mind set where experiments run rampant with many rebranded from past failures. The senior leadership does not listen to experienced operators instead insisting on running tests that repeatedly falter. Stay away unless you are an engineer, data scientist or consultant with an ivy league education."

"Opendoor is changing the way people buy and sell homes. They are consistently making changes to make a great buying and selling experience for their customers. With regard to internal org changes, they do not always reflect as positively for their employees."

"Opendoor is a typical start-up company with a high level of perks and a high frequency of policy/direction changes. If you're flexible, it's a great employer. If you need consistency, look elsewhere."

"I worked for Opendoor for a short period of time. The company is known for big Layoffs. I actually liked the job, but had bad upper management and lack of direction. Just don't get sucked into their sales pitch because it's nothing what they promise that's for sure"
