"Exposure to RedHat and a myriad of services hard to find anywhere else"

What do you like about working at OnPoint Consulting?

"I enjoy the exposure to a large RedHat network, and the constant flow of vulnerability patching tickets which come my way. The team has a great attitude, and I get to interact with experts in several areas. Their general education reimbursement program is enhanced by DoE job specific educational funding, creating a virtually limitless bounty of continuing professional eduction."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Its a great place to skill up, but the turn-around rate is incredible. Expect to hit the ground running, as you will need to give 110% just to survive. Count on being on-call frequently, handling Help Desk duties in addition to your projects, deployment travel, filling out tedious and frequent reports, and learning an astoundingly complex network, all the while keeping ticket numbers accurate and high."

What don't you like about working at OnPoint Consulting?

"Unfortunately, I spent most of my time handling customer service due to a lack of manpower and broken tools."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Hire dedicated Help Desk personnel. Fix the broken ticketing system. Reorganize the office space."
