"People are mostly decent; but workflow & systems add unnecessary work/re-work."

What do you like about working at Onestop Internet?

"Honestly, I'm not sure. I suppose the exposure to different tools, programming languages, etc."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Ask about the position they want you to take:-New, or existing-Last person left because...-What systems do you use for DEV, TEST and PROD environments-What is your development methodology"

What don't you like about working at Onestop Internet?

"The disorganization and the blatant disregard of management. They've been dysfunctional for so long, it's the only thing they know. Programmers bring up ideas to improve the process, but they are rarely, if ever, used. Our queues were constantly slammed... almost always a fire-fighting environment, development-wise."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"1. Audit processes. Suggest an outside party (E & Y, for example); that way, they get a fairly objective review. The audit should be 360 degrees and include customer service, project managers, and front-line staff. Mgmt, also, but can't expect full disclosure. They're used to hiding things.2. Hold the project managers responsible for proper documentation, including details in work tickets.3. Weekly Status reports by the proj mgr to management AND the team. If something is misrepresented, this gives the tactical group an opportunity to correct."
