"As an intern I received great guidance in terms of projects and HR process. Supervisors take interns seriously and help you achieve your potential. The company pays average salary of about $30 per hour for interns in IT department. Interns in other departments get paid a little less. Other benefits included only for full time employees."

"At ON Semi in Pocatello, the people that you will work around for the most part are all top notch, dedicated professionals. There is a great challenge with the new management that has been implemented recently and it is under a lot of pressure to cut costs- which they are doing by cutting personal. This obviously comes at a cost for anyone to do their job effectively and the moral is very low. This is very unfortunate, because it was a awesome place to work a number of years ago. Wait until the new management has moved on before going to work there."

"Company tuned to high volume low-cost components operations. Inorganic accretive growth vs internal investment. If they want to evolve into higher-value add ASICs, they need to upgrade distribution and sales systems to deal with lower volume higher margin lines of business and more strategic investment."

"My supervisor and direct coworkers were wonderful to work with. Benefits were the bare minimum legally required. The company would require employees to take time off during periods of factory shutdown, forcing employees to use vacation time, sick time, or go unpaid."

"ON Semiconductor is growing quickly through acquisitions, managing to maintain relevance in a shrinking semiconductor industry. The rate of acquisitions together with the execution of plans to move upward in product complexity is causing them some short-term growing pains, but I'm sure they will prevail."
