"Worked for OMG Nepal for more than a year and I've found the overall environment and culture to be satisfying. However, the company seems to be not focusing on grooming its employees for career growth."
"It's generally an okay place to work. Definitely a good place to be for a short time, but certainly not a place in which I could build a career."
"Skip the book and watch the movie. It is much better!"
"I was impressed with Omnicom's commitment to a progressive and professional environment. I had a wonderful working experience within my team of nine."
"I worked at Omnicom Media Group for a year. I can't speak to what it's like if you are working in media or with clients, but if you are in an operational function (like I was) then you are viewed as overhead and you are subject to the systems/restrictions/policies that are set by Omnicom."
"Love working here. Great team, great environment."
"Not a place I would work again."
What do you like about working at Omnicom Group?
"I learned more than what I first knew about Merchandising and Electronics. I met a few good people that I will keep in touch with."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Ask for the position you want to stay in for the next 4 years as you will be there. Check out the upper mgt. if they are still broken then you need to move on or at least know what you are getting into."
What don't you like about working at Omnicom Group?
"This was the worst company I've worked for and I've been at some very different companies. From Disney to a mom and pop shop I can compare this company to a variety of positions and it ranks VERY low in upper management competency and leadership. It's all about busy work and re-creating the wheel. They had little to no tools and did not develop their people (any of them)!"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"It starts at the top, so seriously look over your management. Create a healthy work-place for your people. I worked 60+ hours in an office that was once a loading dock and caught several colds during the winters. Give bonuses to those to reach goals and STOP pulling promotions from those who deserve it. I saw several of my co-workers get yanked along for years."
