"No career opportunities. Initially it was a great place to work, but over time have come torealize that there is little opportunity to advance. Also as a state employee management at ODU likes to threaten people with the possibility of unemployment and keeps telling us we should be happy with the job we have."

"They try to be a Research I on a state college budget. High work load, unrealistic expectations. Your tenure committee will be a bunch who have not published, but expect you have."

"the research foundation who handeled the paychecks and ran the accounts, was the worst... so bad I would never suggest working with them if you can help it."

"Get rid of the current employees and process for the research department and start over.... really, it was that bad."
