"I love working for the ODEQ. All of my supervisors are amazing and helpful. I have learned so much by working here. It is a good place to start out, but I am ready to move on in my career with the knowledge that I learned there."
"I've worked for the state for nearly 15 years. The main problems with the position is the red tape surrounding every project and the lack of advancement. To get a raise requires an act of the state legislators which is always bogged down in political mud. There's no room to move up once at the top positions unless you move to middle management. Finally, we are often unable to buy additional tools to technology because of budget constraints."
