"During my time at O'Fallon Casting, I have learned far more than I ever expected, and have been growing in all areas continuously since joining. The people there are great, and the times when they work together to meet their goals are the best. The working conditions are extremely good, and every visitor that has ever walked through the doors remarks that it is the cleanest foundry they have ever seen. The pay is good, especially for production operators, is very generous and competitive. Salaried professional employees may be required to prove their worth before being brought up to competitive levels. The company, like so many others, is going through some rocky growth-pains as it struggles to find competent and committed labor in the up-and-coming generations. The company will pull through if it can maintain a positive, can-do culture that instead of blaming for faults, builds people up and lends hands hands when accidents do happen. And on the other hand, they could be better about letting go of a dead-weight employees that clearly do not care about the good of the company. Overall, this is probably my dream-company to work for, and if not for other external factors, I would like to remain here for my whole career. I will miss it when I am gone."
