Construction Project Manager

"I have been working for 14 years as an executive at Odebrecht Engenharia e Construção (OEC), where I joined as a trainee. After 4 years in Angola, I returned to Brazil, promoted to Production Manager of the Residencial Valdariosa project in Queimados, RJ, part of the Minha Casa Minha Vida * Program, 1,500 apartments. In 2011, I managed the Residencial Terra Nova project in Friburgo, RJ, benefiting the community with 2,200 apartments. Following this, I took over as Operational Manager the Residential Trio de Ouro project in São João de Meriti, RJ, 960 apartments. These three projects add up to a total of 4,660 apartments over a period of 04 years. In 2014, I had the grateful opportunity to manage the Tomorrow's School Factory program, building from 28 public school units serving over 13,000 students in 10 neighborhoods in western Rio de Janeiro. In 2015, I was invited to manage the production area of ??Panama's Urban Renovation project in Panama, building 5,380 apartments. The project also includes the construction of Institutional Buildings, Dom Bosco Training and Education Center and Renovation of Historic Buildings. After 14 years of experience in major engineering contracts in Brazil, Angola and Panama, I realize how important and healthy the formation and qualification of direct labor in the civil construction area. The lack of professionals with technical qualification is great, especially in works with specific typologies (foundation services, structure, finishing and installations). Not to mention the training of contractors and masters. In this way, I understand that my role as a civil engineer and as a business leader, promote the training of manpower. With a leadership profile and a systemic view of business and contracts. These are indispensable skills for coordinating specific technologies - engineering, contract administration, costing, planning, budgeting, quality, work safety and the environment - and promoting the expected results."
