What do you like about working at New York University?

"Being a full time student, receiving the deans list award three times, was an excellent experience. Research on encryption was exciting."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"A research and education environment is quite different than a corporate one. The individual must be academically motivated to achieve a goal. Goal setting is a must. You must be a self starter."

What don't you like about working at New York University?

"I like a private lab environment when coding and researching. The lab I was working in was open to all students."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Provide better food onsite along with quite labs. As well the laboratory must be open twenty four hours. Sometimes the development tools were lacking."

What do you like about working at New York University?

"I don't like anything about it. The negatives outweigh the positives."

"Unless you are interviewing for a very top position, don't do it!"

"Belittling, no room for growth, rude, inconsiderate, intolerable, obnoxious, unacknowledged."

"Would listen to employees, give them a happier/healthier work environment."

"I believe growth is difficult sometimes because of seniority and the low employee turnover rate."

"Sometimes people should be awarded jobs jobs based on merit and performance, rather than time served."

"I would like more responsibility and more structure on tasks, as well as more frequent meetings."

"Working for the NYUMC Social Work Department was a great experience. I have never enjoyed a better personal and professional bond than with my co-workers there. The opportunity to take free developmental learning courses was always available and encouraged. I would recommend working for this department to anyone. More broadly, the human resources department at NYUMC is also highly helpful with assisting employees with getting new jobs and assisting them with their transitions."
