"Worked for Nuance for a couple years; management is easy going for the most part. Flexible hours and great benefits but base salary does not meet market standards. Company is big on communication and holds town halls all the time / ceo sends out a weekly "wins" etc letter. They need to be better at career development for employees."

"Nuance has the opportunity to make a difference in how people will use machine learning technologies to improve how people can interact with services, and people alike. With a sharpening focus on offering new and innovative ways to build solutions that understand what your customers are asking for, Nuance is standing out above its competitors in its focus on personalization and customization."

"Nuance is a good company in general. However, it gets sketchy depending on which group you land. I would recommend talking to the hiring manager in depth and talk to potential peers."

"Worked as a software engineer from 2012 until 2014. Employees on all levels are for the most part excellent people, work place is nothing special. Very little opportunities to grow and it seems like it would take years. Must work overtime with no compensation, ceiling starts at manager position."

"I worked for Nuance for about 3 years now. What I like is a no-nonsense attitude. For example 20 days of paid time off. It does not matter whether it is personal issues, health problems or vacation. What I do not like, especially in my group is the software development processes which are more fit for a couple of extremely talented friends that work and live together than for 15 professionals of various inclinations, talents and perceptions, which is the reality."
