Senior Solutions Engineer

"Interesting way to gather information about a candidate"

What do you like about working at Nth Generation Computing?

"I love meeting new clients and building new toys for them to play with. I also really enjoy the training or knowledge transfer aspect of my job. Finally, I really like the engineering team I work with. They are all very good at what they do, and everyone is more than willing to teach what they know."

What don't you like about working at Nth Generation Computing?

"The company has completely cut the morale of every employee by taking on a new President's salary, and then cutting salaries company-wide. While 2009 was not the best year for anyone in the U.S., we continued to bring in revenue with our professional services team and sales, and ended up finishing off the year with a profit. The employees have definitely taken a backseat and I strongly feel it will stay that way from now on."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Listen to your employees. Especially the sales and engineering teams. They are what drives the company."
