"Where do I begin? There are certain servers who pull all of the weight while the rest get to slack off. Management is gossipy, toxic, and negative. They never had anything positive to say about me throughout my short time there. They found ways to get rid of me. The shift manager is very prudish and thinks he’s above everyone. The owners wife, drinks in the middle of every shift and talks down to staff. She is super passive aggressive and never addresses issues in person. She fired me via text over a bad review and was very nasty to me. I’ve included her exact messages below: “I’m afraid we will need to part ways as of today. This morning we received a complaint from one of your tables. And it was a situation you didn't even bring to my attention last night. Unfortunately, we just don't feel you are a good fit for Novo. Best of luck. “There is nothing to discuss. We have given you numerous opportunities. Your performance has been substandard through and you failed to properly study your materials and continue to make mistakes. We can't jeopardize the restaurant's reputation with your poor performance” Her dialogue shows her bad will towards me. She is unprofessional across the board."
