"I truly wish I was exaggerating. I took this job in hopes that working with animals would ease my stress, as being around animals does for me, but the staff here completely ruined it. Northwoods is the definition of a hostile work environment. Cons included an angry bitter staff, poorly managed work environment/business structure where work you into the ground, minimum wage, no raises, no praise, minimal-to-no training, constant verbal abuse, you can go weeks without day off, extremely poor attitudes, the senior staff hate each other and their anger trickles down to the rest of the staff, unsafe conditions, faulty equipment, no breaks, no overtime, workload x 3. If you ever want to pursue veterinary work as a career, please don’t start here."
