Northwest Bank Employee

"Northwest bank is a regional bank in the process of updating their internal systems and bank products in order to grow. I enjoyed my time at the retail center; I was able to learn a lot about banking in a short period of time, and quickly became introduced to lending and other bank services in the retail center as a personal banker. The bank is not as sales driven as other bankers, but that may change as they grow. This can be seen as a pro or a con; a con of you are complacent and decide to skate by, but you can shine if you work to differentiate yourself from others and focus on improving your sales. Your experience will also be determined by who you work with, but that is the same with any company. The bank seems to have more growth potential in Pennsylvania and Indiana. I would recommend people seeking to get banking experience or who live in Pennsylvania or Indiana try working for the bank to see how they like it."

Northwest Bank Employee

"I was employed with Northwest Bank for 3 years. This was my first real job I landed out of college. They provided me with a huge amount of support to get me up to speed. The people I worked with day-to-day were amazing. The only problems I had were at the executive management level. High turnover at that level created a domino effect down to my day-to-day responsibilities. I adapted to each change well, but the excessive changes of formal processes & procedures were exhausting at times."
