"Don't expect a career that will last you a lifetime, but it is a great college job. Especially if you know your stuff on the subject you are teaching."

What don't you like about working at Northern Arizona University?

"Lack of job growth, getting the occasional poor professor, occasionally being stuck teaching a class containing uninspired students."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Don't try to structure it too much, but have effective and accurate portrayals of successful SIS so they can receive benefits for excellent teaching."

"The politics of the institution run extremely deep and more often than not it destroys productivity."

"I would not put up with the politics as much."
