"I was allowed to work as a telecommuter which which served best to my career and family.My focus is for my life is to take care of my personal growth moving forward with my career and taking care of my family."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you looking to retire at Nortel at right age you can't trust Nortel unless they bring back business and hire all who got laid off."

What don't you like about working at Nortel?

"I was very disappointed with the way top management handled all matters at Nortel for last 10 years as soon as they realized down trend of Nortel businesses. I wonder how board of directors/top management made so much money when company started with layoffs, loosing money in all businesses rather than making profit, announced bankruptcy."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Suggestion to management is to manage and act as a head of the family not of yours but of company.If the structure and organization of the company to work hand in hand with management and employees to bring prosperity to the comapny then I am 200% sure people would have worked really hard and smartly to save company from bankruptcy."
