"Diverse amount of people I was able to work with and for. The amount of travel I was able to do worldwide. I also gained a vast amount of knowledge in the Sonar community that I would not have received in the standard naval fleet. I was able to become a systems matter expert on the Low frequency active sonar system."

"Study as much as possible, when training, take quality over quantity, don't be afraid to ask questions, have an open mind to learning new things, be on time, and stay out of trouble."

"Most higher ranking positions maintained the same people. This made it difficult to for others to excel and put unnecessary strain on senior personnel."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Allow for others to progress and not hold personal grudges against others. Stop changeing operational guidelines without or last minute notification. Also, have adequate training simiulators for crews to train."
