"Watch your back and look out for number one, which is yourself."
What don't you like about working at U.S. Department of Defense?
"The management sucks. They are spineless jelly fish with no backbone and they never look out for the best interests of the employees. They only kiss butt to see where their next promotion is coming from. Most of them, not all of them, are bad, there are good ones but they are hard to find. TOO MANY STUPID RULES AND REGULATIONS and we have no competition, unlike the private sector. No double time on Sundays."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get rid of 40% of them and it would run much more efficiently. The government rewards lazy people and they give the supervisor jobs to the people who have always done the least."

"no place to heat your food, not enough parking spaces,coming earlyfor a parking space and tables to eat your lunch on. don't go by how long with company for layoffs"

"need to treat employee's better and need to changepolicy aout going to the parking lot with out clocking out."
