"The office in New Hyde Park, NY has a management team that put the employees one against another. People don't respect each other and are mostly afraid that someone can tell on them behind their back. They don't have a team spirit. They humiliate people. They call you into work for them during a busy season. Once the season is over they lay off the people. They don't give an actual reason but make up a false report. Most mentally healthy and friendly people leave this company because they can not survive there."

"I have worked for Newtek since 2014 as an SBA underwriter. I have a favorable relationship with my manager and am comfortable with the compensation I receive. Since the pandemic began, I have worked remotely and have created a strong home environment to get my work completed. I have an excellent relationship with coworkers. I have a working relationship with my supervisor as I am expected to be able to complete my work independently. I work hard to get assignments completed in a timely manner even though there is no expectation of promotion. I have all the tools I need to effectively get my work done."
