"Worked for NewLeaf for 2 years. An exciting agritech startup with a mission to create a more sustainable world. The company goal: identify natural symbiotic bacteria that help the growth of industrial crops (soy, corn, lettuce, tomato). Plenty of work for a data scientist / bioinformatician looking into what makes the plant/bacterial symbiosis tick. People in the company are very nice (ever heard of the Midwestern charm? :) The employees are treated with respect and care. A great place overall!"
