"I have worked for the NYS Education Department for about a year and experience the challenges of a bureaucratic structure but also the presence of qualified and productive individuals that are waiting for the right leadership to promote success. Ethical values are strongly needed and encouraged. However, the organization seems to have forgotten the values on some high level leadership, creating a demoralizing environment and culture of silence and disregard for the customer."

"Worked for the State for 4 yrs, good place to work if just started looking for work only seasonal generally. Some of the longer stayed coworkers are very nice to work with, some newer ones while generally nice tend to not grasp the concept of the procedures even late into seasons."
