"I enjoyed the constant tasks that I was assigned and how it was left up to me alone to come up with the best way to go about completing the tasks, presenting the idea to my employer, and then implementing it. When you are given a task and you have all the freedom to be creative and finish it as you see fit, it gives you a strong sense of pride and accomplishment."

"Nothing. I took a better position at Monsanto as soon as it was open."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't bother. I used it as a springboard position while in school at Vatterott; employer not for serious IT personnel looking for long term employment."

What don't you like about working at Jefferson County Library?

"Besides massive workload (years of network mismanagement), pathetic salary, no upward mobility, and too few staff to assist in supporting a county -wide, the complaints are too numerous to list."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"For IT Manager: get a degree in Computer Science and a few industry certifications. English degrees and having no industry experience don't cut it in this field."
