"I worked here for almost 7 years in several capacities. I saw them in the heyday all the way up to the pandemic. Though Nellie's was once the center of the DC community, its star shown less bright after more bars opened with more inclusion and changed with the times. Though the staff are some of the friendliest around, management's refusal to change with the times will continue to be a detriment to it's potential."
