"It had good management back then, at least in the technical departments where I worked."
What don't you like about working at NEC?
"Can't say anything wrong, I really liked it. If it is to criticize something, I'd say too competitive between divisions. I think it is a good practice to rather encourage the divisions to cooperate than compete. Too much cannibalism and politics from the sales and marketing area are not good. They are losing heavily most of their technical workforce."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Demolish the marketing, rebuild the product management, bring in new people with a strong technical background and committed to the company."
