"I belive that Navigant eventually sold out to Carlson so I do not know how the new company is IT wise."

What don't you like about working at Navigant?

"Navigant never could successfully integrate SatoTravel after it was acquired, causing strained relations between the two IT groups."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"They should have instituted a clearrer vision for IT and stayed a UNIX shop (they went windows)."

What do you like about working at Navigant?

"I worked on contract in Iraq, however the pay they reported to the IRS upon which I was required to pay taxes, was considerably less than the pay I was actually given. It was one of the worse professional experiences I have ever had to endure."

"Beware of any company that operates in a deceptive manner solely for the purpose of fueling their own agenda and greed and NOT the best interest of their employees."

"The company tends to run the business according to the stock price and strategic decisions - or lack thereof - reflect that. Make sure you meet as many managers/directors when interviewing as possible and be wary of bad managers - there's very little good leadership in many offices/practices."

"Constant travel, long hours, uninteresting work, poor management, lack of communication, lack of growth opportunities"

"1) Communicate with your employees2) Make better strategic staffing decisions - effectively use the skills and abilities of your employees on meaningful work rather than mindless tasks that don't contribute to professional development.3) Treat people like peole, not resources"
