What do you like about working at Nassau County School Board?
"The concept of quality education in a small, closeknit work environment. The school had a respectable reputation. The environment was orderly, clean and well kept. I felt I was making an impact in the lives of some of the disadvantaged students."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I never wanted to teach lower education ie: kingergarten or first grade. I agreed to do so for a year, so others in that grade could experience other grade levels. The principal knew I wasn't happy there, but had no intention moving me."
What don't you like about working at Nassau County School Board?
"I never felt welcomed and part of the inner circle there. I always felt as though a target was on my back and my principal was eagar for me to fail and always looking for a reason to let me go. I didn't trust anyone."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would want my relationship with my staff to be equitable. I would strive to be fair and reasonable. Cliques would not be tolerated, on the contrary, communication and teamwork would be rewarded."
