"NAEVA Geophysics is a great first job to gain geoscience experience and save money in the process, if you work in the field. However, there is no room to make advancements within the company and work is mostly 50+ hours a week. Depending on where you work around the country, you can be in awesome locations, which makes it a plus. There is a big gap between higher ups and field people , and most of the time getting details you need comes on very short notice and the lifestyle is not for everybody, especially living everyday out of a hotel."
