"Get a clear understanding of the work that is being done at the site and ask how to office has grown in the past and expects to grow in the future. A future growth strategy is critical in any job with the current economy. Choose well and everything will work out."

What don't you like about working at MTC Technologies?

"When BAE Systems took over, the new management didn't recognize that a significant part of MTC's success was the culture and they lost a significant part of what made MTC successful by not recognizing it."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Work to build a business strategy for every site and leverage the strengths and weaknesses of individual sites to support an overall strategy. If you have a strong engineering core at one site, but business is slow, use them to support other offices and maintain the capability rather than to eliminate the capability. Good people are hard to find and good organizations are even harder."
