Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Look elsewhere if you want a fulfilling job that pays you what you are worth. Accept a position here if you want to just cruise along easy street and get paid okay to do it (which is actually a handsome salary considering you won't be doing much anyway)."

What don't you like about working at MovieTickets.com?

"They have no process, no collaboration, no communication. It takes WAY to much energy and effort to implement new and improved (and proven) methodologies so I don't bother any more. They don't let people do the work they've hired them to do. In any give 40 hour work week, I probably do 4 or 5 hours of work, maximum."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Trust your employees and make them accountable for their area of responsibility. Lay out short and long-term objectives and get input on how these will be met. Include in meetings those that do the work and allow them to have some input. I've been here 16 months and have not once been in a strategic development meeting, something I am fully qualified to participate in."
