"I LOVE my Counseling Team. It was the best group of counselors I have evr had the pleasure of working with. That makes coming to work special."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I'm not sure I understand the question...for MVUSD If so, always remember why you entered into this career and let that guide you through the tough times. If you meant for this company I'm applying for...don't hold your breath because I'm the person for the job."

What don't you like about working at Moreno Valley Unified School District?

"Politics with the district. Unfortunately as with other districts, they see our positions as expendable and would rather retain HIGH administrative salaries and cut counselors and necessary programs rather than take a pay cut. Greed rules our school systems."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Learn the value of your employees. Know the caliber of the people you hire because you may eliminate the very personality type you're looking to hire. I've seen schools lose MANY wonderful employees because we are all seen as numbers rather than individuals with gifts helping to strengthen , encourage and build the lives of children of our future."
