"The people are great, but the executive team needs help. I loved working with the team of people I interacted with on a daily basis. However, the executive team's inability to set clear direction made it difficult to understand and measure success. Also, as much as the executive team claimed their desire to be transparent, it is clear that the narrative is more important to them than the substance. Communicating frequently does not equate to communicating with transparency."
"I've worked for Monotype since 2018. It is the biggest and oldest company in the font industry. As a salesperson I feel that their compensation is reasonable, however the quotas assigned are unrealistic with the availability of accounts that are available to newer reps. The quotas need to be readjusted to reflect the level at which they are actually achievable. Upper management needs to be more cognizant of this."
"I have worked for Monotype for over 2 years. Poorly managed sales teams, they don't really see to have a larger strategy than seeing what sells."
"Was a nice place to work, but is struggling along with their newspaper customers."
