"As an employee that’s been working for more than a decade at Milner I can say I’ve seen the glory days come and go. Leaving your head low and rolling over is the only way to last here. What was once a well maintained and organized company is just a decrepit, entitled sales force catapulting everything and everyone in whatever direction the confused upper management is facing. Virtually no one in the office or service team know how to use technology aside from a small handful. From the most basic issues like something not being powered on and distracting others for help, to not knowing how to save a file from their email. No one at Milner is educationally equipped to be working in a technology company, aside from Milner voice and data. We have a workflow that suffers from the same problem as well. I’ll start from the top, with our regional VP who has virtually no clue how things are being run and has no interest in resolving problems that have plagued the employees for years. He only communicates with upper management who’d rather keep him away from the “small problems” than have to deal with him knowing the most simple issues are so prevalent and repetitive. It then trickles down to the regional Sales/Service/Admin supervisors who do NOT communicate between each other on goals, plans or priorities. We are not growing internally or externally proactively, truly a miserable existence where the incompetent thrive"
