"VAC group is great. Peers are nice and helpful, and management wants you to learn and reach your full potential."
"It is a good place to work"
"My company is dedicated to improving their employees' work life balance. We get numerous days off that allows workers to do their best while working because we do not feel overworked. It is a great environment however we were recently acquired by Merck in Germany. The company that acquired us is great. If you happen to work in a department that is a legacy Sigma Aldrich department, they are generally stuck in the American mindset which is to overwork and underpay their employees."
"The companies benefits are nice but the company treats people like animals. The work life balance doesn't exist. The company sees revenue not people, your voice isn't heard."
"not much room for growth in career."
"I've worked with MilliporeSigma for over 8 years, some in Laramie, WY and some in the Carlsbad, CA site. Both sites are completely different industries. MilliporeSigma has great benefits and wants to make people happy, but it is corporate, so nothing really trickles down to lower positions. Communication is slow and sometimes not there just because it is too big. If corporate life is for you, great. But if not, find something smaller that will make you stand out more."
"Good work-life balance. Management is often critical."
"I was employed to complete a six month IT project at MilliporeSigma and got it done quick enough that my supervisor assigned to as many projects as I could complete until the budget the company had set out for me expired. The managers there were nothing but accommodating and the IT team didn't hesitate to supply me with all the resources I needed during my time at MilliporeSigma. I knew my stay there was only temporary but I took it as a great learning experience of getting into the field of IT."
