"Take more than a perfunctory look at the programs you are cutting. Why did you cut the vet tech program What an incredibly stupid move! You placed so many people from it,you were beginning to place the techs in Pfizer Labs!"

"You better have a thick enough skin to deal with the bureaucracy and inefficiency. MSU sells itself as progressive but in the end, it isn't."

"Bad management. Horrendous bureaucracy. State cutbacks and poor allocation of funding. UNIONS."

"Run your administrative and support operations more like a business. Profit has NOTHING to do with it. It's all about efficiency - getting the optimal performance for the dollars spent. That will enable you to better meet your mission of teaching and research."
