Michelin Employee

"It is a very strong company to work for and learn knowledge on tire building and also quality. However they have poor quality on team work and also overall nasty environment to work in. The position supposed to be based on quality however its more maintaining things to fix than doing quality work."

"I have worked with Michelin North America for 17 year and found them to be a very strong company that cares for their employees. Michelin encourages leadership and builds on the employees strengths. They are very competitive with their compensation and benefits packages compared to other manufactures."

"Michelin is one of the best companies you could ever work for. They really care about the employees as opposed to treating you as a number or statistic. They really believe in family first and when they say work life balance, it's not just a catch phrase. They really mean it. If I go to work on the weekend, it's because I chose to go in. It's not because I had to."

"I've worked for Michelin for over a year and a half. The company culture is excellent and professional. I have had the chance to visit many facilities and processes. I see many opportunities here. However, I would not like to stay in the southern US. I would like to move back to NY to be with family. They know I am seeking to move back and I am finishing up a few projects here before I move on to a company back north. In addition, the company is very large, so of course not many hats to wear."

"All bonuses are based off of a percentage of your base salary so the higher the initial salary then the larger your bonus.
