"I have been there for over four years and the company has changed drastically in the last year. With the change of our president, things are completely different now. The atmosphere and the attitudes are now very depressed. Everyone seems to be waiting for something big to happen because no one likes their job anymore. They needed to keep the previous president in place because for 10 years he made the company and its employees feel great. The current president doesn't seem to understand what the employees need to stay in their jobs. And the controller is very nosy and asks a lot of questions about other employees that have made them mad. She doesn't need to be asking questions about character of other employees. She has driven out many people because they do not like her nosiness. Being asked if we are losing our jobs, and I have to tell my staff that everything is fine when I don't believe it myself. There is definitely a different atmosphere at work. Mercury was the best company to work for and I plan to be there forever, but now I am hesitant about staying because it is no longer family. It is only about how much money can be made. Management is constantly fighting with each other and it's not hidden. It is a sad company to be with now. I wish it was like it was before."
