"The people at MerCruiser and the people of Oklahoma were great people and had great values. It was a great place to be rewarded for ideas and efforts until the business downturn."

"The company was nor as competitive as it needed to be in the Marine Market. Its market share went down considerably in a short period of time . Stern drives from 80% to Mid 50s in 5 years and engines form 130,000 per year to 70,000 also in the 5 years. They will be lucky to make 15,000 engines in 2009"
