What do you like about working at Mercer?
"The job security is good at a time when many companies are struggling."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Understand what you are getting into before hand. While the benefits are great, the competition all offer better pay and utilize better tools (we still run XP and Office 2003). At the end of the day it's a job for college grads that are struggling to find jobs right now."
What don't you like about working at Mercer?
"No work/life balance, which is made worse by the below industry level pay. Overbearing clients that make any attempt at a day to day schedule impossible to maintain. Majority of staff are right out of school and only with the company because of the economy, which means most don't care about their work at all."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Leadership is ok, while it could be better it's not the worst."
"Gain high level experience in the field of Human Resources."
What do you like about working at Mercer?
"Interaction with multiple vendors. High level of work and responsibility for benefit work."
What don't you like about working at Mercer?
"Outsourcing to India. They are a outsourcing company for benefits, I would rather work internal for a company in their HR department."
