Sales Representative

"Objective and forthright opinion, delivered through observing eyes and personal experience from a documented top performer, who is a solid team-player (ah ha, another rub I do good team; TMW only talks team)."

What do you like about working at Men's Wearhouse?

"Nothing at all. The Machinations, shyster used-car lot environment and atmosphere, back-stabbing employee abuse and questionable promotion criteria, treacherous, under handed, personal stable-building, and power-play dealing of many of the management staff. They are the epitome of flim-flam, and they will demand the same of you. I hate to dwell upon the high-points though. As a final note, I have had prior friends and customers who have become friends convey these sentiments directly to my face."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Smile at them, knowing all the while they are lying to about how great a place it is to work, and KEEP LOOKING, nearly anything will be better, because this is the bottom of the barrel! They will churn you. Do NOT raise your hand to object to any or all of the transgressions that you will see or hear they will churn you. KEEP LOOKING! Dont worry, if you demonstrate ANY integrity at all, given that several managers brag about how many employees that they have demoted or fired, youll be gone soon anyway!"

What don't you like about working at Men's Wearhouse?

"Everything. The most unprofessional, barely literate, purposefully stupid, competitively disingenuous, louche attitudes and actions, customer indifferent, and shove-down-the-throat product (such as it is) to the customer to which I have EVER been subjected. Breath-taking in tawdry actions."
