1.6I was approached by another firm with a very lucrative offer. Upon coming aboard as "Director of Annuity Operations" I was given no criteria for evaluation or general direction for what my job description was. The company cuts costs by using login information from an advisor who works at the tax planning practice located inside the office building. The entire processing department was expected to use this information to run illustrations and gain access to carrier websites. Within two weeks of being hired the Human Resources Officer (also the wife of the company partner and CEO of the tax planning practice), let me go without any examples of unmet expectations or what the expectations were to begin with. The company utilized seedy practices to gain clients, aka advisors and handcuffed them with multiplatform marketing they must purchase. The entire organization is ran by an incompetent, young and inexperienced management team whom had little to no infrastructure within the organization to facilitate the transaction of business. I am still to this day baffled on how this organization is still functioning and would caution anyone who is working with them or planning to become a client. That if they are willing to treat someone whom they plied compliments and SOLD the position to me what will they do to you?
