"Fun job, if you don't mind being overworked."

What do you like about working at Meez?

"If you're self-motivated and on-the-ball, Meez could be a great place to forge great relationships with other social media professionals. My responsibilities at Meez were a lot of fun, and I got to work on some really cool campaigns. Since I didn't formally study marketing, my experience at Meez was a great opportunity to learn the business through practice."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Know your memes!"

What don't you like about working at Meez?

"I had major qualms with the philosophy of Meez's leadership. It was your typical Just cause you read it in BusinessWeek, that doesn't mean it's going to happen issue. For example, I found myself arguing against their impressions of Facebook Groups magically attracting thousands of new users when we weren't equipped to devote a single person to managing those groups. They made naive demands without giving us the proper resources."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Have a greater understanding of what it takes to brand one's company through social media networks. It isn't all just register-and-go."
