"I worked at MEDITECH for 8 years. Management was poor as they always told you that you were doing a great job until your annual performance review came and then they would tell you the opposite so you would get no salary increase. The annual bonus was also a joke at 3k a year after taxes, and the only good benefit of working there was the healthcare. There was no room to move up unless the people in your group moved out of the company and then you would be senior but without a salary increase. This is a place for people to go and work for 3 to 5 years and then move on. Many of the people stay at MEDITECH because they have not learned other skills or computer languages so they are stuck using a proprietary system that no one uses outside of MEDITECH."

However, the upward mobility of the company and growth potential seem slow regardless of skill and hard work."

"This is a great company to start with but do not stay too long. The typical person in charge only holds their position based on how long they have worked for the company, not due to their skill set. They use a yearly review system to prevent having to give people raises more than once a year and send out messages and rumors about poor sales saying not to expect raises. The company way undervalues the work of their employees, it shows in both the compensation and extreme expectations. Terrible work life balance with higher managerial types just trying to coast along until retirement."
