What do you like about working at MediaBank?

"MB was a start up organization when I began, so I was able to implement processes and procedures as I felt they should be implemented."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Ask about the culture and the open door policy. Ask questions during the interview about their procedures regarding privacy, employment empowerment and how they handle employee's shortcomings. In other words, do they still call people out and embarrass them in front of everyone. How well do current employees/contractors like working thereHow is job performance measured and what processes and procedures are in place to capture the performance"

What don't you like about working at MediaBank?

"Because the recruiting workload was so heavy and there weren't enough APPROPRTIATE processes and procedures implemented, my job was difficult. For example, we were hiring a lot of H1-B Visa contractors with no formalized process. I was unable, as the only person in the dept, to hire accordingly AND on board the contractors in compliance to EEOC guidelines; to recruit for all other positions; and build and design the necessary policies."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be more open and honest with their communications to employees at all levels (I was told many things that weren't true regarding my own duties and responsibilities which led to my departure). Listen.When communicating to employees, do so in a manner that it is NOT condescending, but in a manner that promotes self-empowerment and empathy and understanding. Too many times Vlad would chastise employees in front of the entire organization, making the workplace a hostile environment."
