"Pervading cultural philosophy of the customer is usually wrong; motivated sales staff through negative means and penalties rather than through more positive means; departments seemed at war with each other rather than cooperating to get things done."

"Continually work on improving business processes, eliminate frivolous or out dated elements from the process, invite suggestions from staff on improvements and reward staff when those improvements lead to bottom line results."
