"Solid company with strong product. I loved working with our customers, although I sometimes feel constrained by management to the Wall Street bottom line. Senior leadership should take a longer term view and stop chasing the analysts. Stick to the strategy, and performance will follow."
"Great summer internship! Very informative to be at the chemical plant and see the operations day to day. Even got to see a two week blackout for annual repairs/diagnostics. The only thing I was disappointed about was the supervisor I was assigned. Three interns were hired that summer and we each had different supervisors to report to. My supervisor had little to no projects for me to work on or assist with. The ones I did get assigned took less than a week to complete at most. Needless to say the other two interns were given more complex assignments and when completed, reflected themselves as more valuable employees. They were both offered full time positions after the summer and I believe a large part of this was the individual projects they were assigned. Just not a very fair distribution of talent and time to the interns."
"I worked at MWV in R&D for 6 months and despite being laid off due to restructuring, I really enjoyed the work I did. The projects were innovating and the lab work was varied and interesting. Management needed some reorganizing and hopefully with the new company structure, things will run better."
"They are not very good at training new employees. While there I had things stolen from me, and heard of untrue rumors about many of the coworkers. There were a lot of double standards and I was treated unfair, as well as many other workers. Most all the guys I worked with talked about leaving. The guy that was supposed to be training me didn't care to train anyone let alone me and was a thorn in my side from day one. His idea of training was call me if you get stuck."
"A good place to work for."
