"I think the newspaper gets a bad rap by former employees and shouldn't. It is not a bad place to work at all, though the atmosphere is quite dated and uninteresting. The more traditional 'top down, what the CEO says goes,' style of management is fading, replaced by a managerial understanding that the paper must adapt or die. This provides many challenges, most of them quite fulfilling to address."
