"I worked for Maverick Technologies and the company as whole has weird culture. When you meet the people they are friendly, but they all play lots of politics. They think they are big company, and they are hurting competition, but the reality is they are taking any and every project and sinking in the hole. The clients have been asking Maverick personals to leave as the management overpromised and the personal didn't have experience to deliver. Lots of partiality is seen among the management team and co-workers."

"laid off due to age and nothing else. Premiums about to rise due to age and company chose to lay off rather than offer to split the difference or something else. Human Resources department is vary company oriented and non-employee oriented."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Need to understand the value and contributions of older workers and understand that they are open to negotiation regarding benefits and salary. Need to understand that Human Resources department is not current on most employee requirements and will do anything that management asks, legal or illegal."
