  • "I have been a lecturer in mathematics at UCI since January 2018, but recent cuts in funding as a result of the COVID-19 have resulted in layoffs. Thus, my contract there will not be renewed. I have worked previously in the aerospace industry and am skilled in a variety of engineering, mathematical, and information technologies. I enjoy development and implementation of algorithms for systems ranging from space communication to biological studies and have developed software and firmware for a broad spectrum of applications. I also seem proficient at testing and debugging software and hardware. My response to the company CEO was based on previous aerospace employment since it is not really applicable at the university."
